Great Midwest men’s basketball entered week eleven of play with Walsh, Ashland and Lake Erie leading conference standings.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
  • The Walsh Cavaliers split the week with a loss against the Lake Erie Storm, 89-97, and a win against the Northwood Timberwolves, 74-65.  During their victory over the Timberwolves, Cavaliers Brayden Gross had a double double of 12 points and 11 rebounds while fellow Cavalier Quintero Barnett led the scoring with 13.
  • The Ashland Eagles found two victories against the Thomas More Saints, 63-57, and the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers, 73-67.  During their victory against the Panthers, three players finished in double figures: Jason Moore, Maceo Williams and Max Dawson.
  • The Lake Erie Storm found two victories against the Thomas More Saints, 91-86, and the Walsh Cavaliers, 97-89. As they defeated the No. 15-ranked Cavaliers, Kai Bloom found a standout performance as he continues to lead the Storm in assists, steals, offensive rebounds and field-goal percentage.  He finished with 16 points, one of his highest totals of the season.
