OVERVIEW: Northwood remains as the only undefeated team in the conference, after Thomas More upset No. 25 Walsh over the weekend. The Timberwolves and the Dragons from Tiffin University both hold perfect 3-0 conference marks.

INSIDE THE GAMES:
  • Saints picked up their first G-MAC victory of the season with a 24-21 thrilling win over Walsh.The Saints extended their lead to 14-3 in the second quarter when Chesser found Jaiden Combs for a touchdown with 5:23 remaining in the half. Walsh answered before halftime with a touchdown, but Thomas More carried a 14-10 advantage into the break. Thomas More regained control early in the fourth quarter when Chesser tossed his third touchdown of the night, finding Ben Fay with 12:33 remaining to push the lead to 21-10. Burleigh delivered the walk-off moment, drilling a 32-yard field goal as time expired to give the Saints a 24-21 victory.
  • Findlay erupted for 28 points in the fourth quarter, pulling away for a 41-3 victory over Ohio Dominican. Chase Harrison threw for 308 yards and two touchdowns, including a 25-yard scoring strike to Nash Biglin and a 24-yard TD pass to Denny Furlong.
Andrew Leonard opened the fourth-quarter scoring with a 10-yard touchdown run, sparking a stretch of four Findlay TDs in the final period. The Oilers' defense dominated, holding Ohio Dominican to just 162 total yards and -3 rushing yards while forcing 10 punts and limiting ODU to 1-of-14 on third down.
  • Hillsdale’s defense opened the scoring, as Drake Badger recorded a sack in the end zone for a safety just three plays after Lake Erie started with the ball at its own 1-yard line. Another safety swung the momentum in the second quarter when Evan Bienick and Neal Likens pressured Lake Erie QB Hunter Newell, who stepped out of the back of the end zone to make it 6-4.
  • Northwood stayed undefeated at 5-0, rolling past Kentucky Wesleyan, 59-14, to improve to 3-0 in G-MAC play. Ethan Hamby delivered a record-setting performance, throwing for 390 yards and a school-record six touchdowns while becoming Northwood’s all-time career passing leader with 4,735 yards.
  • Tiffin held off a late Ashland rally to earn a 14-9 road victory, improving to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in G-MAC play. The Dragons took control behind Kyle Antoine’s 1-yard rushing touchdown and a 17-yard TD pass to Jaedyn McKinstry, who also had a 53-yard reception to spark the scoring drive. Tiffin’s defense sealed the win with two interceptions, including Jeremiah Moore’s game-clinching pick at the goal line as time expired
