GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Thomas More Saints handed Northwood their first conference loss in a close 71-70 battle. With eight lead changes, TMU’s Izzy Rotert made the game-winning layup to secure the victory. Rotert would finish with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sereniti Webb was 7-8 from the field for 16 points. Two more Saints in Morgan Hunt and Rylee Turner poured in 15 and 11 points, respectively. Thomas More added wins over Malone and Ursuline to improve to 5-1 in G-MAC play.
- Despite falling to Thomas More, the Northwood Timberwolves strung together wins over Kentucky Wesleyan and Malone to remain at the top of the league. Maeve St. John was once again a standout for the Timberwolves, averaging 26.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 3.7 steals for the week.
- Ashland recorded a 3-0 week with wins over Findlay, Lake Erie, and Walsh. Freshman standout Jenna Slates averaged a double-double for the week with 19.0 points and 10.7 rebounds. Slates currently leads the league in rebounds per game with 10.9.
- Tiffin recorded a win over Cedarville, led by Megan Campbell, who averaged 18.6 points during the Dragons’ 2-1 week.
- Mackenzie Hurd led the Ohio Dominican Panthers to a 2-0 week with wins over Ursuline and Lake Erie. Hurd posted a stat line of 16.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, while shooting 11-23 from the field.
