INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the addition of two new communications interns for the 2025-26 academic year, Cedarville University’s Jensen Wagoner and Ashland University’s Dashia Johsnon.

Wagoner, a senior Sport Business Management major at Cedarville, is also a member of the Yellow Jackets baseball program. A native of Covington, Ohio, he brings a wide range of leadership and athletic experience to the role. He has worked with Cedarville’s athletic department and represented his campus at the 2024 NCAA Leadership Forum and the 2025 Division II Super Regional Convention. Wagoner also serves as Vice President of Cedarville’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. On the field, he has been recognized as a 2024 NCCAA First Team All-American, a G-MAC Second Team All-Conference selection, and a multi-time Dean’s List and G-MAC All-Academic honoree.

Johnson, a junior at Ashland, is double majoring in Digital Media Journalism and Production with a minor in Conflict Resolution. She is actively involved in student media, serving as the Features Editor for The Collegian and the Social Media/Promotions Manager for AUTV. With a strong interest in pursuing a career in sports media after graduation, she brings valuable skills in storytelling, digital production, and communication strategy to the Great Midwest team.

The Great Midwest looks forward to their contributions during the upcoming academic year.
