Mary Kelly Mulcahy Selected As Great Midwest Woman of the Year Nominee

INDIANAPOLIS- Mary Kelly Mulcahy, a graduate student from the University of Findlay, continues to garner recognition for her remarkable blend of academic excellence and stellar golf accomplishments. The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has proudly put forth Mulcahy as the nomination for the prestigious NCAA Woman of the Year award, celebrating her outstanding achievements both on and off the course.
 
Throughout her tenure at Findlay, Mulcahy has exhibited exceptional skill and dedication. She boasts a perfect 4.00 GPA as a Business Administration- Finance Emphasis Major. This past spring, she graduated with her MBA, while earning recognition for academic excellence from the Delta Nu Delta International Business Honor Society, Women’s Golf Coaches Association, College Sports Communicators, and the Division II College Commissioners Association.
 
On the golf course, Mulcahy left an inedible mark on not only the Findlay golf program, but the entire conference. She leaves Findlay a three-time First-Team All-American, while also garnering National Player of the Year in 2024 and leading her team to a national championship title in 2022. In 2024 and 2025 Mulcahy was only one of two non-Division II student-athletes to represent team USA at the Arnold Palmer Cups.
 
The Lima, Ohio native led the Oilers to their eighth straight G-MAC title after setting the conference 36-hole scoring record with 136. She tied the Findlay and Great Midwest single scoring average of 71.71 while also shattering the program and conference career scoring average (73.06), 18-hole scoring record (64), and 54-hole scoring record (205).
 
The holistic success of Mulcahy reflects her dedication and the high standards prevalent within the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.
