INDIANAPOLIS- Tiffin  University was voted as the men’s soccer preseason favorite in the Great Midwest Preseason Coaches Poll. The Dragons collected six of 11 first-place votes for 105 total points.

 2024 Co-Coach of the Year Rudy Brownell led the Dragons to their third straight regular season title last season. Sophomore Anelson Azard is a top returner for Tiffin after being vote first team all-conference during his Freshman campaign. The freshman forward ranked third in the league in goals with nine on the year.

 The reigning champs Findlay garnered 94 points, including four first-place votes. 2024 Goalkeeper of the Year Keegan Grant returns for the Oilers after logging 75 saves and allowing just 22 goals last season. Grant earned D2CCA all-region honors and led Findlay to their first ever G-MAC title. Also set to return is all-conference defenseman Joey Chircho who made 20 starts during his freshman season.

 Slotted at third is Lake Erie with 90 points. The Storm will look to replace  first-team selections in Luke Peperak and Tomas Fernandez,but return sophomore midfielder Linus Oestlund. Oestlund appeared in 18 games and totaled four goals and one assist. Lake Erie went 8-5-1 in the conference last year.

 Ashland edged Thomas More by just one point in the coaches poll. The Eagles went 10-7-1 last season and will look to replace three all-conference selections. The Saints from Thomas More advanced to the conference semifinals last season before falling to No. 2 Findlay.

 Cedarville is slotted sixth followed by Kentucky Wesleyan and Walsh. Northwood, Ohio Dominican, and Malone round out the 2025 coaches poll.

 Great Midwest soccer is set to begin on September 4, with eight non-confernce matchups set to take place.
