INDIANAPOLIS- The Division II Athletic Director’s Association (D2 ADA) announced the 2024-25 recipients of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award. The Academic Achievement Award, in its 18
th year, is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level.
The G-MAC was well-represented on this list, with 1,217 student-athletes recognized. The conference saw a 13% increase of nominees compared to 2023-24. The Great Midwest’s 1,217 student-athletes from nine institutions is the third-highest in all of Division II.
Tiffin University was highlighted as one of 13 institutions with over 200 student-athletes. The Dragons had a national high 300 student-athletes nominated.
To qualify for this honor, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, have completed a minimum of two years of college level work, and must be an active member of an intercollegiate team during their last academic year.
