Ronald Blackman and Khris Walton have both been named to 2025 preseason honors. 

Both players were named First Team D2Football.com Elite 100 Preseason selections. The Elite 100 Watch List was selected by the staff of D2Football.com with the input of numerous sitting head coaches as well as professional football scouting veteran Josh Buchanan. The players listed in this release represent the official watch list for the 2025 Elite 100 Team, which will be announced at the conclusion of the season. The team includes first and second team selections for offense, defense and special teams.

Blackman, a running back, was a 2024 Don Hansen Second Team, D2CCA Second Team, and AFCA Second Team All American. He was also named D2CCA Super Region 1 First Team and is also a First Team All G-MAC pick who was named G-MAC Player of the Year. He was 3rd in NCAA D2 in rushing yards and 4th in yards per game. He led the G-MAC in rushing and scoring and was also named 2023 First Team All G-MAC.

After just two seasons, Blackman ranks 6th in career rushing yardage for Tiffin with 2175 yards. His 1385 rushing yards in 2024 was the fourth highest single season mark in TU history. 

Walton, a defensive lineman, was also a D2CCA First Team selection as well as a Second Team Don Hansen pick on the defensive line. Walton was previously selected as a D2CCA First Team All Region performer and was also G-MAC Defensive Lineman of the Year and a First Team pick. He led NCAA D2 in total sacks and sacks per game. He also led the G-MAC in sacks and tackles for loss.
