Mary Kelly Mulcahy Picks Up Scholar-Athlete of the Year Honors

INDIANAPOLIS- Great Midwest Faculty Athletic Representatives officially voted Findlay’s Mary Kelly Mulcahy as the Great Midwest Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 2024-25 academic year.
 
The Great Midwest Scholar-Athlete of the Year is traditionally presented on an annual basis for an individual deemed to have completed the most outstanding record in athletics, scholarship, and leadership.
 
Mulcahy, a graduate student on the Findlay women’s golf team, finished a historic career for the Oilers. She most recently won the Athlete of the Year Award as well as the conference’s top honors as the Collegiate Achievement Award winner. Mulcahy finished her career with 13 tournament wins, while also tying the Findlay program and G-MAC single season scoring average at 71.71. She has also garnered four first-team all-American honors and was a member of the 2022 national championship team.
 
In the classroom, Mulcahy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis. Most recently, she graduated with an MBA, registering a perfect 4.0 GPA. Mulcahy was also named the Elite 26 winner for academic excellence at the 2025 Great Midwest Golf championship.
