Winner, Ray Headline Outdoor Track & Field Awards

INDIANAPOLIS- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference recognized standouts from the 2025 outdoor track & field season. Student-athletes from three different institutions headlined the individual awards as Ashland’s A.G. Kruger swept the Coach of the Year honors.
 
Kruger led the Eagles to their first G-MAC outdoor title, following their second consecutive indoor title. He landed 12 student-athletes on the all-conference list, including the Field Athlete of the Year in Molly Winner. At the outdoor championship, winner took home the gold in both the shot put and hammer throw. The sophomore then went on to earn a third place finish at the national meet in the hammer followed by a 7th place finish in the shot put. Her performance earned her all-American honors.
 
Findlay’s Kylie Ray won the Track Athlete of the Year honors after a dominant 2025 season. She earned three first-place finished at G-MAC’s in the 400m hurdles, 4x400m relay, and 4x100m relay. Ray went on to finish runner-up in the 400m hurdles with a time of 57.72. Her time ranks as the second best in the G-MAC record books.
 
Allison Kuzma of Hillsdale College was voted the top freshman in the league. She took home first-place at the conference championship in the 10k with a record time of 34:36 to qualify for nationals, where she finished third. Her time ranks in the top 10 in G-MAC history.
 
 
Kuzma’s teammate Nicole Marshall earned the Elite 26 honor for academic excellence. Marshall is a senior studying biochemistry.
