AKRON,Ohio- Hillsdale was crowned the 2024 Great Midwest Softball Champion for the fourth time in program history on Saturday afternoon.
 
The Chargers, seeded second in the bracket, went 3-0 at Firestone Stadium. Hillsdale was up 11-4 in the championship game before inclement weather hit, ending the game in a no contest.
 
Hillsdale defeated No. 7 Cedarville, No. 3 Findlay, and No. 5 Ohio Dominican to lock in a spot in the finals. Hillsdale would go on to face No. 1 Tiffin in the championship game.
 
The NCAA Selection Show is scheduled for May 5 at 10 a.m. ET as teams await their postseason destiny.
