Tiffin University jumped to 22nd in the nation in the latest NFCA Division II poll, their highest showing in 14 years.
Tiffin (27-9) has not been ranked this high in the NCAA since 2011, when they topped out at 18th. That team ultimately finished with a 39-14 record and qualified for the Midwest Region tournament.
The Dragons currently have the top pitching in the G-MAC with a 1.94 ERA and 233 strikeouts, nearly 60 more strikeouts than the next highest team. They are also hitting .313 as a team and led the conference in home runs and RBI. They also have 43 more RBIs and 40 more runs scored than the next highest team.
Nationally they are 5th in shutouts, 13th in ERA, and 17th in strikeouts,
