Tiffin University rose to 21st in the nation in the latest NFCA Division II poll, their highest showing in 14 years.
Tiffin (30-10) has not been ranked this high in the NCAA since 2011, when they topped out at 18th. That team ultimately finished with a 39-14 record and qualified for the Midwest Region tournament.
The Dragons currently have the top pitching in the G-MAC with a 1.99 ERA and 257 strikeouts, more than 40 more strikeouts than the next highest team. They are also hitting .323 as a team to lead the conference while also leading the G-MAC in home runs and RBI. They also have 35 more RBIs and 30 more runs scored than the next highest team.
Nationally they are 3rd in shutouts, 11th in ERA, and 17th in strikeouts.
