Indianapolis, Ind. - On Wednesday, Feb. 19, the NCAA released its' first round of regional rankings for each of the eight regions in the country in the sport of women's basketball. The University of Findlay, with a record of 19-7, makes an appearance in the poll which, for the first round of voting, is listed alphabetically as teams that are "under consideration". This is Findlay's first time in the poll since earning the no. 7 seed in the 2018 Midwest Regional.
The Oilers are one of four teams from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) to be listed in the first poll, joining Ashland University, Hillsdale College, and Malone University.
