The Great Midwest women’s basketball programs entered week four of the 2025-26 season. Teams began conference play as Malone, Northwood, and Walsh collected a pair of G-MAC wins apiece.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- Malone remains at the top of the conference standings with an undefeated record of 8-0. Erin Kaufman ranks third in the league in points per game with 18.9, shooting nearly 50% from the field at 48.5%. The Pioneers 7th and 8th win came from victories over Tiffin and Ursuline. The Malone defense forced the Arrows to 25 turnovers that converted to 31 points for the Pioneers. Malone went on to defeat Tiffin, shooting 40% from the field.
- The Northwood Timberwolves stunned the Ashland Eagles in a 78-74 comeback win over the 2025 preseason favorites. Maeve St. John helped the Timberwolves overcome a 21-point first half deficit as she recorded a 32 points, 10 rebound double-double. Her efforts earned her Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season.
- Walsh defeated Lake Erie and Ohio Dominican, entering week 5 of the season with a perfect 2-0 conference mark. A balanced scoring effort from the Cavs led to a victory over Lake Erie. Kiley Dyrlund led all scores with 18 points. Dyrlund added nine rebounds, two blocks, and five steals to her stat line. Carlota Lopez added 17 points while Rory O’Hara came off the bench to score 10 points. Four Cavaliers scored in double-digits against ODU, with Lopez leading the way with 16 points.
- Hillsdale kicked off conference play in a close 54-50 win over Lake Erie. The Chargers were led by Savannah Smith who finished with 19 points on 8-15 from the field. The Chargers move to 4-2 on the year.
