GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- The Walsh Cavaliers found two victories against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats, 100-59, and Kent State Tuscarawas, 122-73. Their best day came against the Kent State Tusc as they beat them by 49 points and scored 62 points in the first half while adding 60 in the second half.
- The Findlay Oilers found two victories against the Wayne State Warriors, 95-81, and the Bluffton Beavers, 122-73. The matchup with the Beavers marked the first time the two met since 1994. The Oilers shot 49% from the floor, hitting 47-of-97 from the floor including 16-of-43 from the three-point range; additionally, the 97 field goal attempts marked the most in program history.
- The Lake Erie Storm split their week with a victory over the Mansfield Mounties, 126-87, and a loss against the Gannon Golden Knights, 75-105, in the Gary Miller Classic. During their victory over the Mounties, they scored 70 points in the first half, a program record on their way to 126, also another program record.
- The Malone Pioneers found two victories against the Edinboro Fighting Scotts, 80-59, and the Villa Maria Vikings, 111-55. During their matchup with the Vikings the Pioneers found 66 rebounds, beating the previous NCAA Division II record of 57. They also scored 111 points, the third-most since 2011.
- The Northwood Timberwolves found two victories over the Kuyper Cougars, 93-59, and the Roosevelt Lakers, 92-82. During their victory over the Cougars the Timberwolves didn’t allow the Cougars to get any closer than 15 in the second half. Leading the charge was Timberwolves Parker Day with 18 points. eight rebounds, 5-8 from the floor, 2-3 from 3-point range and 6-6 from the foul line.
