Tiffin's men's wrestling team was ranked 8th nationally in the latest Open Matt Division II team rankings.

The Dragons also placed 12th in the Open Mat dual rankings. Central Oklahoma was top-ranked with 93.5 points, just ahead of Nebraska-Kearney (86) Tiffin was 9th with 47.5 points.  

Four Dragons were ranked in the Top 10 in their respective weight classes. Nolan Gessler led the nation with a 1st-place ranking at 165 pounds, while Anthony Aniciete (125) was 4th, Casey Barnett (157) came in at 8th place, and Jake Powell (285) was also tabbed 8th. David Davis (184) was also just outside the Top 10 in 11th place.

Emilio Arellano (174) also made his first appearance of the year, ranked 18th.
