Men’s Basketball
Maceo Williams / Ashland University/ Sr. / Forward / Gahanna, Ohio
The Ashland Eagles went 3-0 for the week, with wins against the Salem Tigers, IUP Hawkeyes, and UPJ Mountain Cats. Leading the charge was forward Maceo Williams as he averaged 22.3 points, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per game for the week. He shot 69.4% from the field and 73.9% from the free-throw line. He also found back-to-back double-doubles at the Hawkeyes Classic with 25 points, 11 rebounds and then 20 points and 13 rebounds against UPJ.
Women’s Basketball
Maeve St. John / Northwood University/ Sr./ Guard / Howell, Mich.
The Northwood Timberwolves competed against the Ferris Bulldogs and Lewis Flyers splitting with a win and loss, respectively. Timberwolves’ Maeve St. John averaged 28.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.5 steals. She also shot 55.2% from the floor, while going 21-21 from the foul line. She found a career-day against the Flyers with 32 points and six steals. The 32 points are the eighth-most single-game points in Timberwolves history.
Men’s Swimming & Diving
Seth McMillen / Malone University/ So. / Uniontown, Ohio
The Malone Pioneers competed in the Malone Invitational resulting in a strong eighth place finish. Pioneers found two individual A-finals in the 100 Breast and 200 breast (7th - 2:15.46) as well as the C-final in the 50 yard freestyle (22.45 seconds).
Women’s Swimming & Diving
Avery May / Hillsdale College/ Fr. / Mooresville, NC
Hillsdale Chargers Avery May finished as a runner-up at the Don Kimble Invite over the weekend. She swam the second-fastest time in the 400 IM in both the Chargers history and conference history to place second (4:29.30) and also swam a leg on Hillsdale's record-setting 400 freestyle relay (3:29.24) that posted the eighth-fastest time in event history. Wrestling
Casey Barnett / Tiffin University/ Jr. / Milan, Ohio
Tiffin Dragons Casey Barnett posted a win by fall in 1:51 over Thomas More Saints’ Mark Ellis as the Dragons defeated the Saints in its conference opener, 52-0.
