Cedarville, Hillsdale Recognized as Presidents' Award Recipients for Academic Excellence

INDIANAPOLIS- A pair of G-MAC institutions have earned the Presidents’ Award for Academic Excellence, as released by the NCAA Friday afternoon. This honor is awarded tot Division II schools that have achieved an Academic Success Rate of 90% or higher.
 
Hillsdale College was the league’s top-performer, earning an Academic Success Rate of 99%. The Chargers’ 99% ASR earned them the prestigious honor for the third straight year. Hillsdale clocked the second-highest ASR behind Emmanuel University who registered a perfect 100%.
 
The Yellow Jackets from Cedarville University followed with a 91% ASR. This marks the 12th straight year Cedarville has been recognized as a Presidents’ Award Recipient.
 
Hillsdale and Cedarville are just two of 43 Division II institutions  to earn the Presidents’ honor.
 
As a conference, the Great Midwest posted a collective ASR of 77%.
 
The Division II ASR includes transfers into a school in the calculation and removes those who transferred out of the school while academically eligible. The ASR also includes over 30,000 non-scholarship student-athletes who were enrolled in the four years covered in the most recent data.
