Three Women's Soccer Programs Earn Bids to Midwest Regional

INDIANAPOLIS- The NCAA released the official bracket for the 2025 Women’s Soccer Division II Championship. The Great Midwest is sending three programs to the Midwest Regional following the reveal on Monday night’s selection show.
 
Great Midwest regular and tournament champions Ashland earned the No. 3 seed after winning their second straight G-MAC title. The Eagles will travel to McKendree University, where they will face the No. 6 seed in Drury. Ashland currently sits at 13-2-5 and are ranked No. 13 in the latest United Soccer Coaches (USC) poll.
 
Next up is Northwood, who is slotted at No. 5. The Timberwolves will travel to Allendale, Michigan to battle No. 4 Maryville, who holds an overall record of 12-2-5. Northwood closes out the regular season with 11 wins and advanced to the conference semifinals before falling to Ashland in PKs.
 
Rounding out teams from the conference are the Yellow Jackets from Cedarville. CU earned the No. 8 seed and are set to face No. 1 Grand Valley State. Earlier this season, the Yellow Jackets battled the Lakers in a 3-2 loss.
