INDIANAPOLIS- Through week five of the 2025 season, the Cedarville Yellow Jackets remain at the top of the men’s soccer standings with a 4-0-1 conference record. The Yellow Jackets are ranked No. 10 in the latest United Soccer Coaches (USC) poll.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS:
- Lake Erie began the week with a 2-1 win over Northwood. Cal Babiash and Glory Hser were credited with one goal apiece for the Storm. Lake Erie limited the Timberwolves to just two shots on goal, anchored by goalkeeper David Ruiz Ospina who played all 90 minutes and recorded one save.
- Cedarville added another win in a 3-0 victory over Northwood. Three different Yellow Jackets scored in Kirk Wilson, Eddie Merck, and Yonis Velasquez. Cedarville is tied for fourth in the league with points at 4.78 per game. Their No. 10 national ranking is the highest program rating in the Division II era.
- Kentucky Wesleyan picked up a win against Thomas More and then went on to complete a draw against Ohio Dominican. Midfielder Haakon Torvbraaten was the star of the show as he netted two goals and registered an assist for five points on the week. Torvbraaten’s impressive stat line earned him Offensive Player of the Week.
- Tiffin added a victory in the win column with a shutout over Findlay. Anelson Azard,Sebastian Alvarez, and Mamdou Keita each found the back of the net in the 3-0 win. The Dragon defense prevailed, limiting the Oilers to just 10 shots and no shots on goal. Nick Cherry led the defensive effort in his fourth shutout of the year.
- The Pioneers from Malone University found themselves victorious over Ashland as Mason Gradel and Anthony Birus each connected on a goal in the 2-1 win.
