Women’s Soccer Steps Up In USC D-II Top 25 To No. 13

Ashland University's women's soccer team is getting closer to its best mark in the 2025 United Soccer Coaches (USC) Top 25 NCAA Division II women's poll, as, on Tuesday (Oct. 28) afternoon, the Eagles moved up to the No. 13 spot.
 
Having gone 10-0-2 in the last 12 games, Ashland is 11-2-2 overall and 9-0-2 and in first place in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. Its 29 points in conference play are four more than second-place Findlay (25), and five more than third-place Cedarville (24), with three league games to go.
 
The Eagles will travel to Findlay (9-3-3, 8-2-1) for another conference contest at 1 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 30).
 
Ashland has been ranked as high this season as No. 12 on Sept. 9.
 
Through Monday (Oct. 27), the Eagles continue as the NCAA Division II pacesetter in corner kicks per game at 10.6, and also are tied for ninth in total goals (42) and tied for 10th in goals per game (2.8). Individually, sophomore forward Sofia Divine is tied for second in D-II in shot accuracy (18 of 24, 75.0 percent), and senior forward Dani Hicks is fourth in the nation in shots on goal per game (2.53) and sixth in total points (29).
