Waco, Texas-  Findlay had to come back from down two scores last week against Ohio Dominican but went on to earn a 27-20 victory to pick up an eighth straight win. The win keeps the Oilers unbeaten at 8-0 (6-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC)). For that effort, Findlay has now moved up three spots to no. 11 in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches Poll — the highest ranking in program history.

The Oilers join #1 Ferris State, #5 Augustana, , #12 Indianapolis, #13 Minnesota-Duluth, #17 Ashland,  #18 Minnesota State, #25 Grand Valley State, and as the eight teams ranked in Super Region III. Ashland joins the Oilers as the lone teams representing the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) although Northwood, this week's opponent for Findlay, is receiving votes in the poll for the first time this season.

Findlay travels to Northwood on Saturday, Nov. 1 for a game that kicks off at noon.
