PAINESVILLE, Ohio -- On Saturday, October 11th, the Lake Erie College Softball team spent their day alongside the rest of the local community at the Painesville Fall Festival. Through their volunteering efforts, the team was able to engage with and positively impact an estimated 3,000-5,000 local children. During this event, the Lake Erie College Softball team had the opportunity to shine light, positivity, and fun onto their community. The team made a meaningful impact on the community by bringing people together to celebrate the beautiful fall season in a fun and positive way. The team organized pumpkin painting stations and exciting carnival games, while also forming meaningful connections with the Painesville community. Not only was the festival a great success, but it also allowed the team to give back to the community in our backyard, with the team's home field sitting just feet away. The team felt blessed to create an enjoyable and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who attended. The experience allowed them to strengthen their teamwork and connect with community members, fostering a sense of unity and support. By giving their time and energy, they contributed to an event that not only celebrated the spirit of fall but also reinforced the importance of community involvement and togetherness.
