CEDARVILLE, Ohio - More than 200 Cedarville University student-athletes and coaches helped to make Operation Christmas Child a reality for children around the world.

In association with Samaritan's Purse the Yellow Jackets packed a total of 1,222 shoe boxes with small gifts prior to the men's basketball game vs. Central State.

The boxes were then delivered to Patterson Park Church in Dayton to be shipped overseas.

Free admission to the game was provided to any child through high school age who brought a donation.

All 16 Yellow Jacket varsity teams participated in the event including donation drop off, building boxes, and packing them.
