INDIANAPOLIS—The Great Midwest Athletic Conference released the 2025 STUNT coaches preseason poll Thursday afternoon. Coaches voted newcomer Davenport as the league’s preseason favorite for the 2025 season.
The Panthers will join the G-MAC this season as an associate member and will look to claim their first Great Midwest title. Last season, Davenport recorded a 12-1 overall record and reached the national championship game before falling to Oklahoma Baptist 16-15. Head Coach Celia Kiogima returns three all-Americans, including first-team selection Tenley Brown. Brown was also voted the STUNT Athlete of the Year last season by the D2 College STUNT Coaches Association. Also returning for the Panthers are all-Americans Ashley Evans and Abby Rossow.
Ashland is slotted at the No. 2 spot and received one first-place vote. The Eagles will look to repeat as conference champions for the third consecutive season. Alyssa McLaughlin is the top-returner for the Eagles after earning all-conference and all-American honors last season.
Tiffin rounds out the top three of the coaches poll. Rajah Little and Kaiah Hicks return for head coach Cassie Bump after earning spots on the first-team all-conference list during the 2024 season.
Samantha Zarzour, the 2024 Freshman of the Year, return for Ursuline who was voted fourth.
Malone and Walsh were voted fifth and sixth, respectively.
The 2025 STUNT season is set to begin on February 1 with the Great Midwest Championship taking place on March 29.
