Women’s Soccer Keeps Climbing USC National Poll, Up To No. 7

The steady climb for Ashland University's women's soccer team back up the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Top 25 NCAA Division II National Poll continued on Tuesday (Sept. 24) afternoon, as the Eagles have moved up to the No. 7 spot.
 
This week's poll marks the highest ranking for the Eagles this season, passing the preseason slotting of No. 9.
 
Ashland (4-1 overall, 2-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference) will play at Ferguson Field on Thursday (Sept. 26) at 6:30 p.m. vs. Northwood (3-0-2, 1-0), then at Malone (4-0-1, 2-0) on Saturday (Sept. 28) at 1 p.m..
 
Through Monday (Sept. 23), junior forward Dani Hicks was in the top 10 in D-II in both goals (five, tied for seventh) and total points (11, tied for 10th) this season.
