The 2024 Great Midwest Athletic Conference schedule gets underway in two days, and when it does, Ashland University's women's soccer team will be the No. 11-ranked team in NCAA Division II.
 
On Tuesday (Sept. 17) afternoon, the latest United Soccer Coaches (USC) Top 25 D-II Women's National Poll was revealed, and the Eagles are up five spots from a week ago.
 
Ashland finished the first two weeks of play at 2-1, and is coming off back-to-back wins in Michigan vs. Saginaw Valley State (3-0) and Ferris State (2-0).
 
The Eagles start the conference schedule with two games at Ferguson Field this week – Thursday (Sept. 19) at 6:30 p.m. vs. Findlay (0-1-2) on Youth Night, and Saturday (Sept. 21) at 6:30 p.m. vs. Ursuline (0-1-2) on 1998 D-II Final Four team recognition night.
