Tiffin University's men's soccer team has vaulted to 11th in the nation in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II national poll.
The Dragons (1-0-1) jumped 11 spots after their first week of competition. TU benefited from strong showings against two programs ranked in the Top 12 in the nation. They opened with a 0-0 draw against 9th-ranked Charleston before hitting the road and beating 12th-ranked Maryville 2-1 with two goals in the final four minutes.
Franklin Pierce took the top spot in the poll followed by Colorado State University-Pueblo and California State University-Los Angeles.
Tiffin was the lone G-MAC school in the national rankings. This also marks the highest national ranking ever for TU since joining Division II, eclipsing the ranking of 12th it achieved in 2018.
