In the first regular-season poll of the new campaign, released on Tuesday (Sept. 10) afternoon, Ashland University's women's soccer team has been slotted as the No. 16 team in NCAA Division II by the United Soccer Coaches (USC).
 
The Eagles (0-1) will play twice in Michigan in a three-day span – Friday (Sept. 13) at 3 p.m. at Saginaw Valley State (1-1), and Sunday (Sept. 15) at 1 p.m. at Ferris State (1-0-1 prior to Friday home game vs. Findlay).
 
Ashland began 2024 with a 1-0 loss at now-No. 2 Grand Valley State on Sept. 5.
