INDIANAPOLIS—The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced a new partnership with Officially Human, an organization dedicated to improving the treatment and retention of sports officials at all levels.
 
“The G-MAC is proud to partner with Officially Human to assist in ensuring our officials are enjoying the same positive game environment we strive to achieve for student-athletes, coaches, and spectators alike,” said Great Midwest Commissioner Tom Daeger. “The resources available, and commitment to an elevated level of respect for game officials that Officially Human delivers, will significantly aid the G-MAC in these efforts. ”
 
Founded in 2019, Officially Human was established to restore respect to and encourage the positive treatment of sports officials through education and communication to all stakeholders.
 
“Officially Human is proud to add the Great Midwest Conference as a partner,” said founder Brenda Hilton. In my conversations with Commissioner Daeger, it was evident that the G-MAC is putting an emphasis on sportsmanship and “humanizing” sports officials”
 
As part of this partnership, the G-MAC and its 13 member institutions will have access to Officially Human’s comprehensive programing.
