COLUMBUS, Ohio- Hillsdale College was officially honored with the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Athletic Training Staff of the Year Award for 2023-24 as part of the league’s annual sport staff meetings conducted this week.
 
The athletic trainers, sports information directors, and student-athlete advisory committee representatives from the Great Midwest will meet this week in Columbus to prepare for the upcoming academic year.
 
This is the 11^th announcement of the award in the league’s 12-year history and represents the second winning vote for the Chargers since joining the league.
 
For the Chargers, their team of six full-time athletic trainers is led by head athletic trainer Tyler Cortright. Cortright is joined by Dan Hudson, Lynne Neukom, Mikayla Kemp, Jordyn Dubina, Kelly Zdan, and Mitchell Schoenborn.
 
Hillsdale sponsors 14 varsity sports and hosted the men’s and women’s outdoor track & field championship this past spring.
