Ashland’s Marshall Leishman led the Eagles to a split week vs. Tiffin. Leishman threw a complete-game shutout in the first game of the series. He pitched seven total innings, while striking out four batters and giving up just two hits. Leishman is undefeated this season on the mound at 9-0.

Aiden Lao and the Oilers swept Lake Erie to clinch a spot in the Great Midwest tournament. Lao led the way going 8 for 13 from the plate. His eight hits included two doubles and one triple for seven runs and six RBIs. He was walked three times for an on-base percentage of .687. Lao’s eight hits made him just the fourth individual in Findlay program history to surpass 200 career hits.
