INDIANAPOLIS -- Findlay returns to the NCAA tournament field for a sixth-straight year as a member of the G-MAC, after earning the automatic qualifying bid for as many years.
The Oilers are the No. 1 seed in the East Regional. They are joined in the regional tournament by Ohio Dominican, seeded at No. 8 and G-MAC Tournament runner-up Ashland at No. 10.
Lisa Marie Schumacher, Tiffin and Sydney Hugo, Walsh will compete as individuals.
The NCAA East Regional will be hosted at Prairie View Golf Club in Carmel, Ind., May 6-8.
Each regional site will consist of both team and individual competition conducted concurrently. The number of teams and individuals from non-qualifying teams at each regionals are as follows:
Central regional: 9 teams; 6 individuals;
East regional: 15 teams, 6 individuals;
South regional: 12 teams, 6 individuals; and
West regional: 12 teams, 6 individuals
All participants will compete through the 54 holes of competition. The top three (central), five (south), five (west) and five (east) teams along with the top two individuals not on an advancing team will advance to the championships.
The championships will be held May 21-25 at Orange County National Golf Center in Orlando, Florida.
