Drew Olssen / Hillsdale College / Sr. / Pitcher / Carmel, Ind.
Hillsdale’s Drew Olssen threw a complete game shutout in a 14-0 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan. In seven innings of work, the senior struck out five batters while giving up just two hits. This season, Olssen is sporting an ERA of 3.33.
 
Player
Boston Torres / Cedarville University / Fr. / First Base / Concord, N.C.
Boston Torres posted an average of .405 from the plate, going 9- 22 on the week. Torres’ nine hits included two grand slams for a total of 16 RBIs.
 
Men’s Outdoor Field
Caden Morris / Ashland University / Jr. / Marion, Ohio
Caden Morris placed second in the men’s long jump with a mark of 7.62m. Morris’ mark ranks No. 8 in Division II to date.
 
Men’s Outdoor Track
D.J. Duncan / Ashland University / Jr. / Mansfield, Ohio
D.J. Duncan found himself atop the podium in the men’s 100m hurdles with a new provisional mark of 13.69 seconds. His time is the eighth fastest in D2 this season.
 
Women’s Outdoor Field 
Leslie Pollock / Ashland University / Fr. / Andtwerp, Ohio
Pollock shattered her previous provisional mark in the discus with a throw of 57.18 meters to secure a first-place finish. Her mark sits at No. 5 in the nation.
 
Women’s Outdoor Track
Odessa Smith / Ashland University / Fr. / Morgan, Ohio
Odessa Smith won the women’s 100 hurdles at Ashland’s 14th annual alumni open. Smith registered a time of 13.94 seconds and was also part of the 4x100 relay team that posted a time of 45.90 seconds. She is No. 17 in the country in the 100 hurdles and No. 25 in the 4x100
 
Softball
Pitcher:
Jules King / Tiffin University / Fr. / Pitcher / Steubenville, Ohio
Tiffin’s Jules King went a perfect 2-0 this week in the circle with a save and an ERA of 0.00. She fanned 24 batters over 14 innings of work, including a perfect game in a win over Lake Erie.
 
Player:
Maddie Woods / Tiffin University / Sr. / Second Base / Millersburg, Ohio
The Dragons swept the softball awards this week as Maddie Woods earned the player of the week honors. Woods batted .643 in four games. She hit a triple and two home runs for eight RBIs.
