2024 Great Midwest Outdoor Track & Field Championships Preview

HILLSDALE, Mich.- Hayden Park and Hillsdale College is ready to welcome student-athletes from 13 institutions participating in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, starting on Wednesday, May 1.
 
Student-athletes are looking to aim high in Hillsdale with hopes to either improve upon provisional marks or enhance their chances of qualifying for the NCAA Championships May 23-25 in Emporia, Kansas.
 
The top two place winners in each event will receive automatic all-conference honors while the top point scorer for the championship will earn track and field athlete of the meet honors. The freshman who earned the most points will earn the freshman of the meet award.
 
Tiffin is coming off an indoor championship and will look to win their fourth G-MAC outdoor title.
 
The Findlay and Ashland men are the only two teams found in the national rankings at No. 23 and No 24.
 
For the women, Findlay is the highest-rated team in the national index at No. 14 and will look to repeat as conference champions. Hillsdale is not far behind at No. 16, respectively.
