Findlay's Mary Kelly Mulcahy Selected to Compete in Arnold Palmer Cup

NORMAN, Okla.- The Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced individual selections for the 2024 Arnold Palmer Cup Tuesday afternoon. Findlay’s own Mary Kelly Mulcahy was selected to represent the United States in the 28th edition of the prestigious cup.
 
Arnold Palmer Cup selections are typically reserved for the top Division I players in the country with two spots up for grabs for one male and one female Division II player. Mary Kelly Mulcahy earned the spot after spending much of the 2023-24 season ranked as the No. 1 golfer in DII. The junior leads the country with a scoring average of 70.7 while picking up six individual medalist honors. She is the first-ever G-MAC student-athlete (male or female) to be selected to compete at the Arnold Palmer Cup.
 
Mulcahy, in addition to other selections, will travel to Ireland July 5-7 to compete at Lahinch Golf Club.
