TIFFIN,Ohio- Ashland University captured their second consecutive STUNT championship on Saturday in front of a packed Heminger Center in Tiffin, Ohio.
 
The Eagles upset the No. 1 seed Trevecca Nazarene 13-9 to earn the title. Ashland and Trevecca went wire to wire, tying the game at four heading into the second half. The Eagles earned two points to start the third quarter, extending their lead 6-4. Ashland would maintain a solid lead to end the game with a final score of 13-9.
 
Lily Boldman was Ashland’s highest-rated player, scoring 48 points and earning the championship’s Most Valuable Player. Boldman is joined by teammates Alyssa McLaughlin and Kylie Adams on the all-tournament team.
 
In addition to Ashland’s trio, Ashton Lowe (TNU), Ruthie Young (TNU), Grace Gregoire (MER), and Karli Liming (TU) were also named to the all-tournament team.
