Oilers Sweep Swimming & Diving Championship for Second Straight Year

CANTON, Ohio-  The University of Findlay men and women were crowned Great Midwest / Mountain East Swimming & Diving Champions for the second consecutive year on Saturday evening.
 
This is the Findlay men’s seventh straight title after totaling 1,869.5 team points. After four days of competition, the Oilers found themselves atop the team standings, over 500 points ahead of runner-up Frostburg State.
 
On the women’s side, Findlay won their fourth championship title after putting up 1,948 team points. Hillsdale earned a second place finish with 1,563 points.
 
Qualifying teams and individuals will compete at the national tournament, which is set to take place March 12 in Geneva, Ohio.
