PALM COAST, Fla. – Prior to the start of the NCCAA Women’s Golf Championship event, the Malone University women’s golf team was able to participate in a canned food drive for the Grace Community Food Pantry.
Along with canned goods and non-perishable food items, the Malone community was also able to give back with t-shirts and backpacks for young children in the area.
“It felt great to be able to give back to the community, especially after the devastating hurricanes,” sophomore
Maria Warner said.
“It was a great experience!” freshman
Addison Burris exclaimed. “Giving back is what we do here at Malone!”
The Pioneers were able to both serve the community that had been hit with damage from Hurricane Milton and excel on the goal course. Malone finished third at the NCCAA Championships in their first appearance in the program’s NCAA DII era.
