Waco, Texas – While the season is still young and nothing has yet been achieved, four wins in four games is not a small feat. A 4-0 start has not happened at Findlay in 22 years and has only happened now 15 times in 121 seasons of Oilers football. For that effort, the Oilers have cracked the top-25 in the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) DII Coaches Poll. The last time the Oilers appeared in the national rankings was on Sep, 3, 2018 following the conclusion of week one, when they were ranked nineteenth.

The Oilers, ranked 23rd, join #8 Kutztown, #9 Slippery Rock, and #16 Charleston as the lone teams ranked in Super Region I. Findlay is the only team in the conference ranked in the poll.

Findlay hits the road in Week 5 as they head south to Owensboro, Ky. to take on the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers.
