INDIANAPOLIS—The Great Midwest Athletic Conference released the 2024 STUNT coaches preseason poll Tuesday afternoon. Coaches voted Ashland as the league’s preseason favorite for the 2024 season.
 
The Ashland University STUNT team will look to repeat as conference champions this season as the Eagles return three all-conference selections. Lily Boldman was voted  Great Midwest STUNT Player of the Year and landed a spot on the first-team all-conference list. Boldman was named MVP at the 2023 G-MAC STUNT championship and led Ashland to third-place finish at nationals. Denise Farnsworth, the 2023 Co-Coach of the Year, also returns flyer/tumbler Alyssa McLaughlin who earned second-team honors last season and Freshman of the Year Emily Keeling. The Eagles will look to build off last year’s success after finishing with an overall record of 11-4.
 
Trevecca Nazarene was slotted at the No. 2 spot and received two first-place votes. The Trojans began to sponsor the sport of STUNT last year and are set to compete at the collegiate level this season.
 
Hiram Collegerounds out the top three of the coaches poll. Co-Coach of the Year Brittany Powell led her team to a second-place finish at the conference championship last season. She returns a talented group in Reyna Polly, Nina Casalandra,Kera Jones, and Ashley Rutkowski. The Terriers finished the 2023 season with a 7-4 overall record.
 
Kaiah Hicks and Rajah Little, both first-team honorees, return for Tiffin University who was voted fourth.
 
Mercyhurst and Ursuline were voted fifth and sixth, followed by Walsh and Malone.
 
The 2024 STUNT season is set to begin on February 2 with the Great Midwest Championship taking place March 18-30.
