INDIANAPOLIS—The Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) released the regional winners for the 2022-23 Scholar-Athletes of the Year awards. Ashland University’s Annie Roshak has been selected to represent the Midwest region, which consists of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
 
Roshak is a graduate student on the women’s basketball team and led the Eagles to their third program national title and a perfect 37-0 record last season. In addition to being a standout on the court, Roshak also maintained a 3.84 GPA as an accounting major. Earlier this summer, she claimed both the conference’s Athlete of the Year and Scholar-Athlete of the Year awards.
 
Each of the eight regional winners will advance to the national ballot, with the overall winner announced on Thursday, September 14th.
