Great Midwest Well-Represented in D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards

INDIANAPOLIS--  The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) released the 2022-23 Academic Achievement Awards recipients Thursday afternoon. The Award recognizes the accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level.
 
The Great Midwest was one of only eight conferences that recognized over 1,000 student-athletes. In total, 1,182 student-athletes from the league were recognized in the award’s 16th edition.
 
“Congratulations to the over 1,100 hundred student-athletes recognized today by the D2ADA”, said Great Midwest Commissioner Tom Daeger. “We are thankful for the association for acknowledging the hard work of these students in the classroom and are proud to be among the nation's leaders in supporting academic success.”
 
 Walsh and Findlay were two of only eight institutions to honor over 200 student-athletes. The Cavaliers awarded the second-most student-athletes at 272, while the Oilers were not far behind at 236.
