ASHLAND, Ohio- The Dwight Schar Athletic Complex and Ashland University is ready to welcome student-athletes from 13 institutions participating in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships starting on Wednesday, May 3.
 
Student-athletes are looking to aim high in Ashland with hopes to either improve upon auto locks or enhance their chances of making the NCAA Championships set for May 25-27 in Pueblo, CO.
 
The top three place winners in each event will receive automatic all-conference honors while the top point scorer for the individual awards for Track/Field Freshman of the Meet will also be recognized at the end of the ceremony.
 
While both Findlay men and women captured the team titles during the indoor championship, the outdoor titles will be just as competitive in the team scoring.
 
Findlay (men) and Hillsdale (women) are the most recent outdoor champions, winning in 2022.
