Brendan Beaver / Ashland University / So. / Pitcher / Bay City, Mich.
The Sophomore left-handed pitcher recorded his fifth win of the season to remain undefeated on the year. Beaver threw his first complete game, allowing five hits, one walk, and striking out seven batters in nine innings. He moved to a 5-0 record and improved to a 1.36 ERA this year with a WHIP of 0.85 and opponents batting average of .184. His current scoreless innings streak improved to 20 2/3 innings.

Aidan Brewer / Hillsdale College / Jr. / Infield / Dexter, Mich.
Junior Aidan Brewer led the Chargers to two conference victories this week. Brewer hit .500 (7 of 14) from the plate. His seven hits included one double, one home run, five RBIs, and four runs scored. He stole two bases and had an error-free week from shortstop.

Myles Martinez / Ohio Dominican University/ Jr. / Pitcher / Columbus, Ohio
Myles Martinez tabbed an ERA of 0.00 through 5.1 innings pitches. He struck out eight batters, while only walking one. He currently leads the conference with seven saves and an ERA of 0.28.

Tim Orr / Tiffin University/ Jr. / Catcher / Canton, Ohio
Orr had a successful week from the plate, batting .625 through four games. He hit a double, a triple, and two home runs for six RBIs this week. The Canton, Ohio native registered a slugging percentage of 1.188 and posted an on-base percentage of .700.
Men’s Golf
Caden Scarbrough / Cedarville University/ So. / North Canton, Ohio.
Cedarville’s Caden Scarbrough finished first of 62 individuals at the Bethel Invitational. He registered scores of 72 and 68 to finish with 140 (-4). Scarbrough recorded the program’s first hole-in-one and recorded the fourth-lowest round in school history.

Alex Movshin / Walsh University / So. / Goalkeeper / Hudson, Ohio
Alex Movshin of Walsh University led the Cavaliers to a 2-0 week with wins over Malone and Davis & Elkins. He allowed just 10 goals while recording 37 saves. Against D&E, Movshin posted the highest save percentage of the season (.810).

Hudson Dennill / Walsh University / So. / Attack / Chilliwack, British Columbia
Dennill joins Movshin as the offensive player of the week. He totaled 13 points through two games. The sophomore attack tied the program’s single-game scoring record with seven goals and one assist against Malone. Against D&E, he tabbed four goals and one assist.

Kathleen Mendenhall / Walsh University / Jr. / Goalkeeper / North Canton, Ohio
Kathleen Mendenhall led the Cavaliers to two more conference wins to maintain a 5-0 G-MAC record. Through three games, Mendenhall tabbed 15 saves and seven ground balls. In a loss against Grand Valley State, she recorded her 300
th career-save.
Offensive
Danielle Dilorenzo / University of Findlay/ Sr. / Midfield / Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Dilorenzo posted a nine goal week as the Findlay went 1-1. She also had two assists and picked up five ground balls. Through two games, she also recorded 17 draw control for the Oilers.
Softball Pitcher
Erin Kapteyn/ Hillsdale College / Jr. / Pitcher / Delton, Mich.
Erin Kapteyn posted a 2-1 record in four appearances for Hillsdale. She registered an ERA of 0.64, including 16 strikeouts, two walks, and two unearned runs conceded. Kapteyn held Trevecca Nazarene to just four hits and one earned run in a 3-1 victory. The junior went on to pitch four shutout innings in a 10-0 victory over Kentucky Wesleyan.

Kendall Andrews / Trevecca Nazarene University / Jr. / Catcher / Murfeesboro, Tenn.
Kendall Andrews earned Softball Player of the Week after going 7-11 from the plate for an average of .636 through four contests. Andrews’ seven hits included one home run, one double, and two RBIs for a slugging percentage of 1.00. In the Great Midwest, she leads the league in runs scored, triples, home runs, and stolen bases while having the highest slugging percentage and on-base percentage.
Men’s Tennis
Michael Gurtner / Tiffin University / Sr. / Tumeltsham, Austria
Gurtner went 4-0 for the week in conference play. He recorded a 6-2 and 6-3 win over Ashland at the No. 2 singles position. Against Cedarville, he won by scores of 6-1 and 6-1. Gurtner also added two doubles wins over opponents.
Women’s Tennis
Elina Ivanova / University of Findlay / So. / Nizhny Novgorod, Russia
Elina Ivanova registered a 4-0 week for the Oilers, including two wins at No. 2 doubles. At No. 1 singles, she recorded wins of 7-5, 6-0, 6-0, and 6-2.
Men’s Field
Eliot Cummings / University of Findlay / Jr. / Jumps / Toleda, Ohio
Eliot Cummings was victorious in two events over the weekend. He won the long jump with a mark of 7.54m, which ranks as the ninth best in Division II this season. Cummings also finished first in the triple jump with a 14.51 mark.
Men’s Track
Josh Jones / Northwood University/ Sr. / Sprints / Kalida, Ohio
Josh Jones set two Northwood and Great Midwest records at the Bryan Clay Invitational. In the 800m, Jones clocked a time of 1:48.45 for a 17
th place finish out of 135 individuals. His time of 1:48.45 sits at No. 5 in D2 to date and is 26
th in D2 history. In the 1,500m race, he finished with the 19
th best time in the country at 3:46.69.
Women’s Field
Trista Fintel / University of Findlay/ So. / Throws / North Canton, Ohio
Fintel had another successful weekend for the Oilers, finishing first in two events. In the shot put, she threw a mark of 15.38m, putting her at fourth in D2 this season. Fintel also won the hammer throw at 55.20m. Her throw ranks as 14
th best in the nation.
Women’s Track
Meg Scheske / Hillsdale College / Jr. / Sprints / Berea, Ohio
Meg Scheske took third in the 3,000m steeplechase, behind two Division I athletes. She recorded a personal-best time of 10:20.30. Her time ranks as the best G-MAC time this season and is fifth in the country.
