Eagles Advance to Final Four

St. Joseph, MO- Ashland University Women’s Basketball will continue their historic season after a win at the Elite Eight Monday evening. The Eagles beat the No. 8 seeded UT Tyler Patriots by a score of 81-72.
 
All-American Annie Roshak led all-scores with a double-double. Roshak poured in 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Two more Eagles in Hallie Heidemann and Zoe Miller also added double-digit points. Miller added 15 points as she shot six-of-eight from the floor. Heidemann followed with 14 points, including three treys.
 
The Eagles jumped to a 5-0 start and never looked back as they maintained their lead for the remainder of the game.
 
Ashland will advance to the final four for the fifth time in program history and first time since joining the Great Midwest. Coach Kari Pickens and her team will play the winner of No. 3 Tampa and No. 4 defending champs Glenville State.
