VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.-- Trista Fintel made history at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships as she took home the national championship title in Women's Shot Put event. 

Fintel threw a mark of 16.04m, her farthest mark of the season. Her throw shatterd the Great Midwest record and earned the Sophomore First-Team All-American honors.
