Eagles Remain No.1 Heading into G-MAC Quarterfinals

INDIANAPOLIS—The Women’s College Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) released their Top 25 poll for games played through Sunday (Feb. 26). Ashland University remains at the top of the rankings with 23 first-place votes and 575 total points.
 
The Eagles are 28-0 and earned the No. 1 seed in the Great Midwest Tournament as well as the Regular Season crown.
 
As a team, Ashland is leading the nation and conference in field-goal percentage (.536) and scoring margin (27.2).
 
Other teams from the Midwest Region in the Top 10 include Drury (No. 2) and Grand Valley (No. 5).
 
Ashland faces Ursuline College later today in the quarterfinal round of the Great Midwest Tournament.
