INDIANAPOLIS— Four Great Midwest women’s basketball teams are found in the NCAA Midwest Regional rankings, released Wednesday afternoon.
Ashland claimed the top spot with a perfect 27-0 record, the only remaining undefeated team in Division II. The Eagles were crowned Regular Season champions and earned the No.1 seed in the Great Midwest Tournament.
Kentucky Wesleyan (20-5) and Trevecca (18-8) sit at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively.
Malone rounds out teams from the league at No. 8 with an overall record of 19-7.
Regular season games will conclude this weekend, as teams await their postseason fate.
